The First Annual Oak Cliff Art Crawl  4pm - 9pm

On April 25, 2009, Several Art Galleries and Artist studios will open their doors for receptions and festivities in Oak Cliff. You are invited to visit each destination at your own pace between the hours of 4pm – 9pm. Artworks of all mediums will be on display.
The event is free and a map of destinations will be provided at each venue. Participating galleries include Cube Creative - a brand new gallery on Tyler St., Ice House Cultural Center, Soda Gallery, Decorazon, Texas Theater, 9th Street Town Homes, Bishop Arts Studio Co-op, Mighty Fine Arts and more!

A few of the things you can expect at this fun filled art crawl are live bands, free refreshments and beverages, a unique art experience at each venue (including a Beatles themed reception), a large group of bicyclists visiting each location, and of course, quality art available for purchase.

The question I have is which shoes to wear for all this art walking. I love it!!

Get Your "Ear Candy" tomorrow in Deep Ellum

I have the pleasure of hanging alongside a great batch of Dallas Artists in a show curated by Courtney Miles at the Mokah Gallery in Deep Ellum.  Come on out on Saturday April 25th from 4-7p for the reception.

Toast to Life April 18th 2009

I donated work to "Toast to Life" this year here in Dallas. What a night, believe it or not I went out without a hat, no scarf and heels. Let's say I felt like I was in a costume so I went with it. The event is in it's 11th year and going strong. It benefits the Resource Center of Dallas. It was great to see all of the Art of the walls, the patrons walking around eager to bid and the DJ spinning in the corner.
